M att Ryan and Julio Jones teamed up for a dominant playoff performance, and the Atlanta Falcons ignored all those ghosts from the last half-century.

Ryan threw for 392 yards and four touchdowns in another MVP-worthy showing, while Jones shook off a lingering toe injury to haul in nine catches for 180 yards and two scores, leading the Falcons to a 44-21 blowout of the storied Green Bay Packers in the NFC championship game Sunday.

The NFL fined the Falcons $350,000 and the franchise will forfeit their fifth-round selection in the 2016 NFL Draft , the league announced Monday. President Rich McKay will also be suspended for at least three months from the Competition Committee beginning April 1.

As the chairman of the Competition Committee, McKay is one of the most influential executives in the NFL -- as evidenced by his large role in the NFL Annual Meeting in Phoenix. The suspension serves notice to any other teams trying to use crowd noise to their advantage.

The NFL found former Falcons director of event marketing, Roddy White , directly responsible for the violation. According to the league, McKay was unaware of the team piping in crowd noise:

Migos have been a big part of the Superbowl conversation for a while now even though they aren't formally involved. For the most part, people were egging on the idea of the rappers performing at the halftime show and  a petition was even started to replace Lady Gaga with the Atlanta rap trio.

And while that didn't quite pan out, even though they were 100 percent down , it looks like the Migos are still very involved with Superbowl Sunday as it appears the group has been in Houston all weekend. Yesterday the rappers posted a video to Instagram that featured all three members at a special NFL fan event where they got to meet legendary running back Emmitt Smith and run a 40-yard-dash against each other.

The Culture rappers also sat down with Sports Illustrated to talk about a number of Superbowl related topics including their message for the Atlanta Falcons and their old-fashioned recipe for "Chili pot" crockpot chili. In the video below the Migos urge the Falcons to work together like brothers and bring home the golden egg.

Following the playing of the national anthem at the Superdome, where the clubs were meeting in a Week 3 Monday Night Football clash, players and coaches from both teams joined hands in a huge circle at midfield.

According to ESPN's broadcast, quarterbacks Drew Brees and Matt Ryan helped orchestrate it in an attempt to show support for peers that have been objecting to social injustice across the country while also trying not to detract from the playing of The Star-Spangled Banner on the 10-year anniversary of the Superdome's re-opening in 2006, a year after Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans and displaced the Saints for a year.
